Blogging or twittering?

In this new era of delivering massive social media sites to us, as it is Twitter, there is  a question that pops-up and would go something like this for bloggers of course and for those who are starting to blog, if it is still worthily to writing a blog if there are so many different services to use and express yourself.

Why is Twitter actually so popular?
Beacuse it is very easy to use and it don’t take too much of the thinking process on what to write or how to write. You just write it! Be spontaneous. And the most important, it is fast.

The downside of Twitter is, you only have 140 charachters to express yourself and to put that into words.

Twitter is…
for people who doesn’t have time to write long articles and stories like bloggers, but they want to do something on the internet, so other people can see.
Beacuse of it’s popularity now even more bloggers use it for notifying their followers about a new blog post or something similiar.

Twitter for me…
But this is just my opinion and you can agree with it or not. I think that twitter is not so useful tool beacuse there are a lot of “twitts” like, driving to work; Watching TV; Waiting for my computer to boot up;…

What is this, I know i am not interesting in reading that kind of stuff.

Let’s move to blogging
Blogging is a completely different story from Twitter. This is a place where youhave a place to put your mind

into words and in as long as you want posts.

They said blogging is dead
How can be dead if there are so many new blogs coming up every day.

Conclusion
At the end it is you who decide what you like and what not. So if you prefer Twitter then use it and if you are a blogger then do that.

But the best is if you can fit in and follow and use them both

What is widget and why do we need it? Part 2

In previous part of the widget series I told you something about widgets more generally speaking: where can you find widgets in dashboard, what are they good for and what a widget is.

In this post you will learn how to add video and image to widget.

For images is almost the same. The difference is just in the code you add, which is something like this:

<img src=”link-to-your-picture.jpg”>

Text in the red is always the same, text in black is the URL of the image you want to add.

If you want that your picture is a link to other website it has to look like this:

<a href=”link-to-page”> <img src=”link-to-your-picture.jpg”> </a>

First link is the connection to the page you want your picture to follow when you click on it. The other link is the URL of the image.

Why did I start blogging?
Is this just another boring blog, so you can praise yourself before your friends. Well, I have to dissapoint you that the answer is NO. That blog is more like blog that provides tips, tutorials and other helpful information to our readers.

Why is blog called online Godfather?
That is beacause it sounds very cool and the other reason is that the Problogger name was already taken

The main topic or the red line are going to be tips, not just blogging tips. It could be photography or cooking tips, too. So, all sort of tips are goint to be presented.
